Free and open-source language learning

About Schola Interlingua

Schola Interlingua is a free and open-source educational platform for learning Interlingua IALA through a clear, structured course experience.

Learning Interlingua

The platform brings together structured lessons and vocabulary, readings, appendices, practice activities, and review tools. Quick quizzes and audio-supported review help learners revisit words and phrases, while progress tracking keeps study connected over time.

A shared Flutter codebase supports a responsive web experience as well as Android, iOS, and macOS applications.

About the developer

Schola Interlingua is developed and maintained by Ian Blas, a software developer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Ian Blas builds educational software for Mandarin Chinese, Interlingua IALA, etymology, morphology, writing systems, and open-source language learning.

He also develops Chety, an educational app for learning Mandarin Chinese characters through etymology and morphology.

Open-source project

Schola Interlingua is free and open source. Its code and project repositories are publicly available through the Schola Interlingua organization on GitHub, where developers and language learners can inspect the project and contribute improvements.
